Protank Marine Painting
The Problem
There are many high performance coating and tank lining products available on the market. The highest performing products are two part epoxies, polyureas and polyurethanes. These products are only as good as the surface cleaning, surface preparation and proper application. The presence of surface contaminants or lack of sufficient surface profile or tank placed into service before full cure are all typical reasons we observe failing coatings and tank linings. These products also require specialty equipment for spray application. To take advantage of the protection these state-of-the-art products can offer, systems should be installed by a trained paint applicator and certified by the coating manufacturer.
The Solution
Professional Tank Cleaning and Sandblasting employs a full time NACE (National Association of Corrosion Engineers) Certified Coating Inspector on staff. The inspector ensures surface cleanliness, adequate surface profile and the proper application of the products. All steps of the process are documented along the way and results reviewed with our customers. We also train and certify our applicators and own specialty heated plural component paint spraying systems required by many of the high performance coatings and tank linings available. We guarantee 100% Customer Satisfaction and offer the best warranty in the business.
Products
We work with several of the major product representatives to write specifications for long lasting surface preservation systems. Some of our coating and tank lining suppliers which we are certified applicators for include: International Paints, Enviroline, Devoe Coatings, PPG, Carboline, Sherwin Williams and 3M Thortex and Belzona.
